課程概述 |
Cognitive Science (3 credits, M course header). Main Lecturers: Dr. Joshua Goh (GIBMS), Dr. Janice Fon (GIL). The class will cover topics from philosophy and methodology of the study of cognition, to perception, to higher order cognition, and application. |

To understand fundamental concepts and basic findings regarding cognitive science. |

課程要求 |
Prerequisites: Graduate students and undergraduate students in 3rd or 4th year (with approval from academic advisor).
Assignments: Final grades will be based on class participation and attendance (20%) and 14 class assignments (80%). For class participation, except for Week 1, in advance of each class, students will submit a question based on that week’s lecture topic. Student questions must be submitted on CEIBA by 1300hrs three days before each class (on Tues). Student’s questions may then be selected and raised during the class for the lecturers to address. For assignments, lecturers will provide a question for each lecture. After every Friday lecture, students will answer in written form (A4, single space, 12 point, maximum 2 pages) and submit the next Fri by 1300hrs. Late assignments will not be graded. Assignments can be in English or Chinese (or at the discretion of the lecturer) and must be submitted on CEIBA. |
